Just don't expect to play a A game with a 512 3D Accelerated Card 7800/X1800. Because a 256mb 7900GS = a 128 7800GT.
I would rather spend an extra few bob and get a better preformer:

It's a great card. My Cosuin Jackie has one they are the best. Which is why I registered here. And bought myself a pc with a 768 8800ULTRA
either way you're wrong. a 7900 gs out performs the 7800 gt, and the my 7900 gs card is comparable to a 7900 gt/gtx err in between. I'd say go with xfx, you can manually overclock it. And i'm pretty positive you can get it close to a xxx edition, 600/800
