How do you turn on the FPS counter on CoD2, maybe HL2, UT2004 if they have them? IS it a download? i would just like to see my framerates, especially in CoD2, as i have everything turned up all the way and they are pretty low (i dont really care about fast rates). Any help is apprecieated.

go to www.fraps.com and download the free version and it will tell you your FPS.

I like the in-game counters better, since FRAPS has an ugly yellow counter and slightly slows down performance. I only remember the one for HL2/CSS/DoDS, and thats net_graph 1.

Yes, but when you do that the fps display is extremely small and hard to read.

I type "net_graph 1", then "net_graphpos 2". That way the network monitor is centered in the middle of the screen.

or cl_showfps 2 if you want a more steady display of it.
