FPS/Ping Tracker in CS:S

Hey guys, after I updated my STEAM, I noticed that an FPS/ping tracker (tracks other things as well) has appeared at the bottom right of my screen. It gets in the way of my playing and it messes up my peripheral vision! Anyone know how to get rid of this thing?

If I wanted to know my FPS I would type "cl_showfps 1" in the console...
