Wanted to up the grafic level on Warcraft so I purchased new vid card. Its amazing compared to what Im used to. The problem I have is for 5-8 minutes I get 58-62 fps then it drops to around 7-8 fps. If I drop my settings to low I can still only get about 20 fps. After a few minutes without me touching anything they jump back to the 58 fps range again for a few minutes. It did the exact thing when I tried Half Life as well, great picture for awhile then gets slow then speeds up?? Open to any ideas. Thank you.

Check your GPU temperature. It sounds like the GPU starts to overheat, then underclocks itself, cools down, adjust clock back to normal, then overheat again.
