Okay, so I finally got myself an iPhone and I decided I better get iTunes on my laptop to use the music player functionality of the phone.

I must have tried to install iTunes from the apple site about 10 times now and I get a variety of issues--all of which will not allow iTunes to install.

1 attempt I did get iTunes installed but it would literally freeze (Not Responding) after I clicked anythin in the side panel.

I've tried 32-Bit installer which throws up an error for me to redownload the 64-Bit installer.

The 64-Bit installer give a (Not a valid win/32 error)

-Cannot be installed
-The setup.exe won't even open when I click it
-Sometimes the download won't even start

I could go on...it seems to be a different issue each time.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this nonsense?

Specs of laptop are in my sig and it's iTunes 9 i'm attempting to install right for Apple website!

Thanx

First off, I would scan for malware using Malwarebytes and then running ccleaner to clean up old files.

try running compatiblity mode, it can do the trick sometimes... Did you get a response from malwarebytes?
