Back to my question, Videora didn't offer AVI conversion and that other guys link was either spyware ridden or limited free trials (that's why I made the post, I knew that...) Any other ideas?

Same problem, I've looked far and low and I can't find a genuinely free program to Convert AVI to MPEG4. Would really appreciate it if someone had an idea...
