Free for steam customers HL2: aftermath

is this true or what??????? because i read on steam that if you own half life 2 you will get it free on steam
 
HL2: Lost Coast is a "technology showcase" which introduces HDRI to the Source engine (DoD: Source and CS:S should have an option to enable it already). Lost Coast was a part of the original HL2 coast episode but wasn't used. Aftermath is an expansion pack.

Yup, that is the one that is free. It's only 1 episode, pretty short, but hopefully it'll be sweet. I have yet to beat HL2. I am at the dune buggy part. How far am I from the end????

DAMMIT!!! I thought I was getting there, can I ask how many hours of painfully shooting the same annoying crap do I have left??? Does it get any more interesting??? :confused:
 
ya, i never heard of aftermath, but lostcoast is available for hl2 owners. it was originally chapter 17 of hl2, but they decided not to put it in.
