Free modeling program?

Im trying to figure out how much material im going to need for my case im building (bought some stuff today) but wanted to try and 'virtually' put it together and see how stuff is going to fit in it. I attempted this in PS but to no avail, are there any free modeling programs that will let me plan out each side of the case before i put it together?

google sketch up is an excellent free CAD program
if your more into modeling for game design and animation then I highly reccomend blender

I just need something really really simple to do a mock up of the case im doing... would google do that?

google sketch up is about as simple as it gets, you'll be modeling in no time with it
