RegCleaner is an easy to use program. With RegCleaner you can easily get rid of those old and obsolete registry entries created by software that you have destroyed ages ago. And by easily, I mean easily. You don´t have to be any expert to use this program.

It must because I deleted everything and my WinDVD program wouldn't work. I restored everything andit works again.

I use Tune-Up Utilities 2004 and i run it all the time, and i have never had any problems with it deleting files that messed up other programs, if you cant find it online, i can send it to you on msn or something, since i know they got tid of it on download.com. I find it to be much better then all the other registry cleaner programs, and it also has a bunch of other utilites that are pretty useful.

is it free?? i found it online but it says it is the trial version and all the free trial versions of programs i have found scanned stuff but you had to pay money for it to delete it. if possible, could you send it to my e-mail? [email protected]. if you can thats great, if not, thats fine. thanks

hte trial version of tune up is completely open. infact, after the 30 day trial, it just keeps going up, ie 31 days, 32 days, 33 days

didnt know that, but ya, there are no restriction, and once you do it you dont need it again for a while. if im not mistaking, you can just un-install and re-install again and get another 30 days.

That's what happens to me with other programs. It's very annoying and still have yet to find something to fix it.

Why you ever would need anything other than Jouni Vuoro's cleaner to keep your registry lean & clean is beyond me. It's 100% free and by default makes a backup of every entry before removal.

If you need instructions on how to use it have a look at my tweak guide section 11.

as i said before, tune-up utilites i free for 30 days, and you dont really need to use it that often, and unlike other programs that i've tried, this one has never messed anything up for me. It also has numerous other programs like start-up manager which locks the configuration, and many other utilities. Although i never tried Kouni Vuoro's cleaner, im sure they both work quite well.2

thanks geoff. that program is awesome. it basically has all of the options of the control panel all in one spot plus it has a cleanup option for a ton of stuff. i love it so far, it's helped a lot. it messed up when i ran the startup cleaner, my firewall and my norton wouldnt start, but i just restored it and it was fine again.
