Free software site (no not spam..lol)

Hey guys I just stumbled across this site http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/ , apparently what I've read is they give away the software for that day for free...

I figured it's worth a bookmarking as what I see they've given away in the past several days all looks pretty cool and useful... :D
 
well I've downloaded it before, and then run Spyware S&D, and Avast Anti-virus and nothing has come up...

I think it said something like the authors of the software use it to get the word out about their stuff, and I found out that one of my friends has used it for months and gotten good software and no unwanted crap...
 
I would just like to say that I have downloaded several or so programs from this site and have never had any problems. There's also the game give away on that site, the games aren't very good but their free so you can't complain.
