Free software to record Gameplays?

Hello all. I've got some spare time this summer and I figured I might start making gameplays and stuff like that. Problem is I need a software to record but I don't want to spend any money.

I want to be able to record game sounds if possible. If I need to use a second software (does Audacity do that?) that's okay. I tried CamStudio but it doesn't work with games in Fullscreen.

Look into Fraps.

I can only record 30 seconds at a time with the free version though. I've found several softwares but they all don't work with a game. Just shows a black screen.
