Free video editing software

^^^Is there any? I tried to used Windows Movie Maker, but it won't take *.MOV files :mad: .

Also, is there any way that I can resize a moving *.gif file?
 
I know of no free editing software, but I'm sure you could could converters that would convert say AVI to MOV's... Just check google.

As for resizing moving gifs, I use Image Ready. It comes with Photoshop...sorry, don't know of any free ones right off if that's what you wanted.

I want to be able to take .MOVs and make them into a compound movie using WMM ( or another free program)

I don't remember if Adobe Premiere can do that or not, but you should try it :)

try to use adobe image ready !!!
