Free Virtual Machine Software?

What's a good virtual machine software? Wanting to run a virtual machine with Windows 7.

Is VMware player the best?

Either VMWare Player or VirtualBox (both free) is good. If you happen to be running Win 8 64-bit, it has Hyper-V built-in which is also decent.

I prefer VirtualBox over VMware Player.

I prefer VirtualBox because it supports snapshots. You don't get snapshots with the free VMWare Player, you need to go with a paid VMWare version in order to get snapshots.

They're all usable though, even MS VirtualPC is not bad.

Yeah Virtualbox is realy good.I use it sometimes when trying out diffrent linux distros.
