strollin Well-Known Member Sep 30, 2014 #2 Either VMWare Player or VirtualBox (both free) is good. If you happen to be running Win 8 64-bit, it has Hyper-V built-in which is also decent.

strollin Well-Known Member Sep 30, 2014 #5 I prefer VirtualBox because it supports snapshots. You don't get snapshots with the free VMWare Player, you need to go with a paid VMWare version in order to get snapshots. They're all usable though, even MS VirtualPC is not bad.
