Geoff VIP Member Jun 24, 2005 #2 I believe you can only trade to XP 64 if you had XP Professional, not home, since the 64bit version of windows is called Windows Professional x64. This link tells you how to exchange your XP pro version to XP Pro 64: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/64bit/upgrade/default.mspx All you have to pay for is the shipping, and it's not too much. And you can get that even if you have a 32-bit cpu, it just wont run. lol

dragon2309 P.I Dragon Jun 24, 2005 #4 KOF's got it one there. You can trade in a home 32bit version. As long as you can prove it was bought and paid for LEGALLY and it's not dodgy.

Geoff VIP Member Jun 25, 2005 #6 It says right here: Exchange Windows XP Professional (32-bit) for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition for a limited time on the microsoft website, you can use home, its like microsoft exchanging home to pro for free.
