patrickv Active Member Jul 29, 2008 #2 Adium - Messenger for all services Fairmount - dvd ripper MacThe Ripper - same as above VLC - well all know what that is Mplayer OSX Perian Flip for Mac wmv capabilities for quicktime SimplyBurns - nice app for burning cd /dvd Livequartz Wimpy FLV player Flv player Gimp Cyberduck - Ftp client Virtual Box - free alternative to VMware or Parallels Transmission - Free torrent client The unarchiver Skim - pdf reader - then of course you can also download Adobe Reader 8, also free Pacifist - open pkg files and extract contents or force isnatlls of applications Miro - Internet and Tv Dvision Mpeg streamclip - video converter - useful There's a dozen more but those i just the ones i just installed about an hour ago !!
