Freeze, Help!!

Quite occasionally after I've started my PC if I run a game straight away and my PC completely freezes, why?

Most likely over heating. I know on our family computer if you tried to open apps when it first started up it froze.

Edit: found out why; problem with DRIV3R for this only occures with this game.
