freezing at bios screen motherboard problem?

well i been getting alot of freeze at the bios n desktop screen i dont know if it the mobo or the cpu i know is not the ram,psu, or vid card cause i test them out n they work fine only thing i cant test out is the cpu n mobo cause i dont have any extra laying around. already restart cmos many time n reset the ram and all of that stuff.

Have you ran a diagnostic on the hard drive at all? Disable/remove any hardware not required to boot the computer and see if it still freezes. Only have cpu, 1 stick of memory, video card, hard drive, mouse, keyboard and monitor. Remove any pci addin cards, cdrom drives and usb devices. Try booting up and see what happens.
