Freezing, looping sound, No signal?

Hi guys,

My pc has been playing up for a few week and has done this wierd thing a few times.

Latest time being like a minute ago.

Anyways. it freezes up, the screen goes blank with no signal to monitor and theres a constant sound loop of what ever i was playing on.

This only ever happens on games.

It is not the temps as they all appear to be fine, not gpu usually loads about 55 and cpu about 60.

Cant think of anything other than new gpu (hd 7850) or cpu oc. I have since took the CPU OC off but havent had enough time to see if this is the problem.

Could it be my new gpu?

Not updated drivers for a few week or so. As for 12v rail i havent a clue, i presume so :/

In regards to the crashing it takes switching it off at outlet to get the pc to turn off.

Sorry to bump this but does any one else have any input?

This happened again earlier and its pissing me off severely.

I have been told i can RMA the card, although after a bit of digging online everyone with similar problems are reporting everything else other than card, Memory, PSU, and monitor seem to be the most common reason for things like this.

Someone did say the managed to get a friend to get a screenshot from remote access when it happened and it said the video driver had stopped working. I dont trust anyone with remote access so is there anyway i can get a screenshot after a crash?

FYI, the crash now is not a crash in the send of the looping noise and freezing up. Instead i am just losing signal to the monitor but everything else is fine. Game still runs etc.

This ONLY happens when gaming.

Only thing changed recently is my monitor i am now using a 1080p LCD TV with a hdmi lead as opposed to vga or dvi.

EDIT: Just found out my HDTV is only hd ready the native res is only 1440x900 I have been setting it at 1080. Could this attribute to it losing signal?
