Freezing while burning

I was unsure where to put this, seeing as it could be a number of problems, but anyway...

When I try to burn a CD on my computer it does fine and goes smooth all the way to where it is "closing" the last file (song). At this point everything just stops. I can move my mouse but that's it. I have to cold boot. I am using Windows Media Player to burn the cd which works fine on every other computer I have used. Any ideas on why this would happen?

ahh....because your running windows. I would say download Cheetah CD Burner download the second one on the list. I know its only a trial but there are many ways of getting full versions of programs. that is probably one of the best ones out there, if you still have problems burning things then it might be a hardware problem

for me i have always had problems usin media player to burn cds

the best program for burning in my opinion is nero6/7 iv never had a single problem using it if u look around around im sure u can find it for my favourite price
