my Laitude freezes alot, when i turn it on, after about 15-20 mins., it will freeze, i ran Panda, found nothing, but cookies, any ideas? it never froze before.
 
I have heard bad reviews on Panda software. Try ZoneAlarm Antivirus/Spyware or Kapersky (im pretty sure their free for like thirty days if you dont want to pay) and try to solve the problem. It sounds like its most likely a virus/spyware problem (Ive had similiar).
 
It could be caused by either the CPU or video card overheating. I know that with newer laptops if you block up the fan holes, then it may overheat and may freeze up. If you are able to get temps with SpedFan or Everest, it may be abe to help us out (if you have temp sensors that is).
 
High temperatures are one likely cause, you may also want to run memtest to rule out a RAM problem.
