For the last week I get a pop up ad for just about every site I go to. It's usually somewhat related to the site visited. Right now, in fact when I minimized this screen the was this: "Recommended: Clean Your Windows Registry". A while back I recall having this and I believe it was caused by ad -ons. I was able to disable them and didn't have these pop-ups for about a year. The ad-ons that are enabled appear to be fro legitimate companies sush as Microsoft, Google, McAfee etc. I use Spywarebot, McAfee and Windows defender. I wonder what else I can do to stop these pop ups.
