Does anyone plays Frets on Fire here?

It's a free open source Guitar Hero game . The best part is that you can plays any song! Your keyboard is your guitar

I used to play before. It's hard though when you have have to press F5, I'm not flexible enough.

It is a great free game though. Lots of downloadable songs and mods/skins. Though, not all the songs are done really well.

I downloaded lots of packs, I have the Rock Band pack 1 and 2.
The interface is ugly, but I downloaded a mod that makes it look like exactly GH3 and that has the "fail" if you miss too many notes

its a good game but some of the songs level difficulty are not accurate, I went to play a easy song and it was like hard on guitar hero but it is a fun game

You can use your xbox 360 guitar for it and its a lot easier than the keyboard. Some keyboards will not let you press 3-4 buttons all at once and have them register. So go with the xbox guitar.

I wish they had a mod for the drum set though, I'm hoping and praying someone figures out how to use the drums as a midi controller.

I agree about the Menu Music but not the "Quit" button. Never got to try it, game would freeze on me

So you guys didn't like it?
Was it because it didn't used enough resources on your kick ass computers or because it looked bad? If it's the second reason, I added a GH2/GH3/RB skin that allows to switch between each games. I'll post when I find the link on internet.

Basically I have GH3 with any songs I want. What's not to like? Unless you don't like that kind of game...

Well, I didn't mention any "graphic interface" dislikes. The game just won't work on my computer, it could be some hardware problem. Every time I tried to start/play a song, it would freeze and the program would close.

What OS are you using? Works fine on my WinXP

I play it. It's pretty fun, one major problem is that the hammer-ons are completely messed up.

I tried it a while ago, there were only like 4 songs and I couldn't import my GH2 songs. I just went out to Best Buy, you can get GHIII + Guitar Hero Aerosmith + Wired Guitar for $60
