Fried/broken mobo?

I just built my new computer, processor, ram new motherboard put on thermal paste. it started up...but nothing came on the screen...and the front power switch wasn't turning it off so i had to click the power switch on my psu. did that about 2-3 times, and now the computer doesn't turn on. i know it's not the psu cuz i hooked it up to my old computer, it worked fine. i hooked my old psu onto the mobo, and there is a small green LED light that glows when power is going into the psu. the green light came on so ya, and i turned on my computer, and then the green light turns off. i have to disconnect the power cord that hooks up to the mobo before it turns green again. so i'm guessing it's my mobo. anyone else think so to? any way i can find out or troubleshoot to see if its broke or not?
thanx in advance

Please list your specs on the pc. Are you sure you wired up the Case connections properly?
