Fried power supply?

I couldn't find a top for this already so I'm posting, move it if there is one already.
So I plugged in my computer and turned it on and the power supply trailed smoke. I'm assuming that it's fried. It is an IN WIN IPS-1806DV-20. I looked at the IN WIN site and it doesn't sell this model anymore. I am trying to find a new powersupply without spending too much, and I don't know much about the supply since I haven't had this problem before. Help.

yup it's fried. dont try using it again or fixing it because it'll be dangerous for your system. what is the max you're willing to spend? top PSU brands are corsair, seasonic, PC P&C, antec, and OCZ. anything else is just mediocre with a few exceptions of some good ones

Well, I don't need anything too fancy just something to get by with for a while without spending a ton.

here are some decent ones and i personally would never get anything lower quality than these:

Thermaltake TR2 430W $41 ($31 after rebate)
OCZ StealthXStream 500W $70 ($45 after rebate)
Antec earthwatts 430W $60 ($30 after rebate)

Motherboard Gone

The bad news is your motherboard could all ready be gone.

Yep.
Don't be surprised if there's more dead hardware from the PSU failing.
