Friend and his Nvidia card

Hi, my friend just got an Nvidia card and he's having some trouble with it. Whenever he opens up a game, ANY game, it is too dark. The in-game brightness controls do not help that much. He wants to know where he can find 3d application brightness controls in the Nvidia drivers..
