Friend bent his pins

A friend just told me he bent 3 of he's pins on his new amd processor - he bent them back into place and they look as normal - is this going to affect his processor or should it work as normal ?

usually as a general rule of thumb, as long as they go back to where they where and are perfectly straight, no, it should all be fine... You're only REALLY snookered when one snaps off...

So yeh, you should be all fine, i haven't ever heard of a CPU not working from bent pins that have been bent back.

If one breaks off, it usually doesnt do a whole lot, though sometimes it UCs the CPU or disables a feature.
