Hello all.

This is a different hijack this log to the one I posted in my other thread. Basically this is for a friend. He's had countless viruses, issues and other bugs going on with his computer. We think we have cleared up the majority of them however we would like someone to have a quick look through his HJT log and see if they can pick out anything else that's dodgy.

PnkBstrA.exe & PnkBstrB.exe are a tracking services installed by the PunkBuster app. It connects to the internet and sends out your packet reports, which should be against the Privacy Act. There are experts that can interpret your packets and tell if you're hacking or not. These services hog your internet speed and system resources. PunkBuster had eventually apologized to users on forums and released an Uninstaller to remove the unwanted services. You can click on this link to download: http://www.evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe After downloading it to your desktop, go here to upload file and scan: http://virusscan.jotti.org/ The server might be very busy during the day so just wait for 10~20min or so and it should ease up a bit, then you can upload the file to scan. After scanning, do the following steps:
1)Start>Run> type in services.msc and click "Ok".
2)Scroll down until you see PnkBstrA.exe
3)Double-click on it, click "Stop", use the pull-down bar above and choose "Disable". Click on the "Log On" tab on top and look towards the bottom where a white box is and an item says "Profile 1", double-click on it and its status should now be "Disabled".
4)Do the exact same steps for PnkBstrB.exe
5)Double-Click on the "pbsvc.exe" that you just downloaded and do uninstall. May need to reboot.
