From DVDs to Computer

Hi all,

I hope this thread is authorized here... I would like to know a way to get the videos and music from my The Offspring DVD to my computer in a smaller file than 3GBs ( using DVD Decrypters...)

I believe DIVX are smaller, but how do you make those?

I would like you guys to know that I'm copying the DVD on my HD for my Ipod, not for illegal activities.
