Hello

So i am wanting to switch my ISP, However my current ISP's speed limit for the thing i chose is 15 MBPS and 1.8 Mbps Upload speed

But the one i am getting now is 1.1 - 3 MBPS, Idk on upload but i assume lower?

Anyways what i am wondering is, How will this effect me speed wise, 15 MBPS to 1.1 - 3 is a massive dip in my eyes, its just i do not know how these effect me Internet speed wise

Basically all i do online is Browse sites, Like FB, / Youtube. Play games like WoW and Steam. Basically the only things i download is my games. So i am wondering if this will be effected at all, and by how much

Hey, Thanks for the reply, not really what i was expecting but here let me word it out better

I currently am using (and on) Earthlink by TWC, Speeds of 14-15 MBPS Upload Speeds of 1.5-1.8 MBPS.

We are switching plans to a different TV / Internet provider (Verizon) And we are cancelling our package deal with TWC / Earthlink and doing TV / Internet with Verizon

The Internet that verizon is giving us however is a speed of 1.1 - 3.3 MBPS, I do not know about upload because it did not say, I am gonna get this in about a week

Basically what i am wondering is will i see a difference online / downloading / playing games switching from TWC's 15 MBPS Download to Verizons 1.1 - 3.3 MBPS download?

I am not sure what MBPS is and what it does, I just know i am going to be losing a lot of mbps and i am wondering how this will effect me

here are the results if you still wanna see tho

Yeah, I misread your post, sounded like you were having problems with your internet speed. You shouldn't have any issues playing online games as long as no other users are online in your house browsing or downloading files. With 15 mb service you could physically download a file at 1.8 mb/s now with 3.3 max, that same file will only download at max 412 kb/s. So it will just take longer to download files.
