From XP to Vista...

Hey, i have a question, i now have XP Professional on my hybrid compaq, my case has the logo that says "Windows Vista Capable", what do i need to do to get Vista? is there an upgrade disc or something, or do i have to format HD and install the full thing??

depends on which version of vista you get you might be able to upgrade or you will have to do a clean install

"Windows Vista Capable" means that it can run Windows Vista on minimum settings, it does not mean that it can run the whole new Aero glass GUI, and you would have to buy a Install disk, but if you got you computer recently its possible that you can get a free upgrade DVD.

It's better to do a fresh install but theres an "Upgrade" install option, if your installing from XP.
