Front Panel connection problems..

I have the Asus P5W DH Deluxe and the Antec P180, but I don't know which power pins plug into which area? (Using a Q-Connector, but exact same pin layout)

Sorry for the really bad pics, poor camera ;P :

On the first diagram, I think everything is put in right as there is a diagram in the P180 manual that links everything.. but there is nothing on the second diagram to indicate what goes where.

The PLED is a 3 pin connector but the P5W only has 2 pins, with none in between (it has a pin, a gap, and then another pin)

The bad thing is, HDD LED2 is not plugged in anywhere and I have no idea where to put it.. see the diagrams!

Edit, in diagram 2 it looks like HDD LED2 is plugged in, but it isn't..

OK...I have no clue what I'm looking at in those pictures... Well, I do, but yeah...

All I can say is look at the manual. There is no standard for cases wires or motherboard headers.

Hmm... I guess I need to read this one better...

So you have two HDD lights on the case? Very few motherboards, if any, actually offer independent headers for different controlers. My HD light will flash at times when I use my CD-ROM(it's IDE and I have an SATA HDD)

If you REALLY want to use both lights, read up on your drives. Some drives have headers for lights(well, many older ones did...) Or, you could just get another controler card or some sort. Many of those have light headers on them :P

On top of that I have probably bought over 500 cases and never saw one with 2 HDLED connectors:confused:

HDD* (Not hard drive, these are plugged in from the case)

already, I'll just No. 1! Thanks for all your help..

Edit// also, a friend who has the same case just left it unplugged and everything is fine ;)

Usally just server cases have more than one. I know in one of my computer classes a while back, they used full sized towers(easier to work with) and they all had two HD lights. I recall seeing one server case with four HD lights a while back!

Yea your right on that, havent used a full in a long time!

what he/she probably means is that there's a + and - to the HDD light... very common... and they aren't connected and in fact 2 separate wires... but that's also very hard to tell from the very detailed pictures... :P
