front panel connector

Hi there, I am having problems with my front panel USB connectors. They work but with some devices, like flash drives, external HDDs cameras, it recognizes them, but them disconnects them, like there is no enough power or something?

I am using windows 7 and my motherboard is an intel badaxe2 I think, I installed the chipset drivers already.

You have the usb connector on the motherboard correctly? You don't have it attached to the firewire header? It could be the wires in the cable are shorting out or something.
