Hey ALL,
I recently upgraded my comp but the front panel connection names from my case differ to those in my manual. Everything is fine apart from determining the line out connections. I have a choice of two pairs "Ret L/R" or "L/R Out". I have tried both pairs individually but neither worked.
Although after some research i found that Ret L/R connection is for HD audio (which i don't think i need in my case as for HD you need 9 connections and i only have 8 - also they are named similarly to the non-HD connections)
In the manual:
1: Mic
2: GND
3: Mic Power
4: NC
5: Line Out R
6: NC
7: NC
8: No Pin
9: Line Out L
