IE7 just froze and was a non responding program. The mouse wouldnt go to the task bar, and the only thing i could do is move the mouse. So i pressed the power button and held until turned off,now has restarted and i put a HJT log.

To avoid hard booting you can press the CTRL-ALT-DEL combinations of keys there to bring up the task manager and choose the end task button when highlight IE 7 in the applications tab. That will bring up the end program screen with the yes and no options there.

IE 7 for most is the long awaited improvement over IE 6's too many vulnerabilities like running into crap sites during a web search for product information or something along those lines. But with any browser, driver. game, or app you can expect to run into the occasional loading sideways problem where the task manager will bail you out.
