FSB difference

Hi!

Is there any major difference between interfacing 800MHz or 1066MHz memory with 800MHz(FSB) processor. I'm asking this, cause i'm planning to buy new motherboard and memory and planning to upgrade cpu later. So if there's no difference(speaking of performance) then i'd like to buy 1066MHz memory for upcoming cpu upgrade.

EDIT: But generally, is it good idea to keep 775 socket? It's quite out of date, right?

Thanks!

I wouldn't say out of date. The processors you can get with the LGA775 socket type are still pretty powerful. I really like to think that the i7 quads are just overkill.

If you go for new motherboard, don't get LGA 775.
Get AM3/ AM2+ if you want to re-use your DDR2 RAM
No, i don't want to re-use mu ram, i'd like to re-use my proceccor. I'd like to get new motherboard and new memory and don't want to buy new processor yet, but still try to leave space for cpu upgrade(in this case for with 1066MHz FSB cpu).

Thanks for your answers, but i still didn't get answer to my main question: Is there any major performance between interfacing 1066MHz memory and 800MHz(FSB) processor or 1066MHz memory and 600MHz processor.
