FSB Speed/Ram Speed

Hey guys,

I used to know all this, but I forgot...

So how do I find FSB and Ram speed again? (For intel core 2 quads and DDR2 Ram)

Was it the advertised FSB/4 for CPU? like 1066/4=266 mhz
And I forgot how the Ram goes. Was it DDR2 800 ->PC2 6400
6400/4=1600mhz max?

argh I don't remember

A FSB of 1066 has a base/unpumped bus of 266mhz.

DDR2 800 has a internal bus of 200mhz

DDR2 1066 has a internal bus of 266mhz.

So does that mean a DDR2 1066 will be running 1:1 ratio with a CPU at a Bus of 1066?

Something tells me that's not quite right.

EDIT: I think I found what I was looking for:

bus x 4= FSB
bus x 2= DDR2 speed

So 266mhz X 4 = 1066
and 266 x 2 = DDR2 533

So a DDR2 800 could run on a max bus of 400mhz which is plenty of room for OCing while staying at 1:1 ratio.
