from what i have played of it, its great... i cant find my joystick, so didnt play much

but what do i know, before FSX the last one i played was FS98 :P

/cry.... i hate not beeing able to edit topic titles.. :( :(

yea, great, have a laugh about 1 typo. -_- , you're about to be put on my list, next to cromewell :P

but, thanks for the info tough... im thinking of picking it up after im done here,.. but im not sure yet

it's not an assassination list is it? I don't need to be on another one of those :P

I wouldn't say it's worth buying, just on the principle that I had FS8 & 9 and they were essentially the same. Redo the scenery maybe add a plane or two sell it as a new game. I do like the FSX commercials though, "It's so realistic you may find your self saying I'm a real pilot. If this happens, step back, slap yourself and say I'm not a real pilot"

well... you didnt think you could call me a scumbag without consequences.. did you? :P
anywho.. here in the netherlands no FS commercials at all are shown.. if it wasnt for the internet, i wouldnt even have know'n its released already.
ill dig up the other threat about the difference between the normal and the deluxe FS.. but, is it better than FS9 you think?

not sure :P

look some vids of FS9 and FSX and see if you can tell that much of a difference

what kind of list is it though? not sure if i should run away or take it like a man :P

hmm... let me see, Baseball Bat,... Check,.. bricks,... check.... rope....:P

i cant find the other topic, so ill just ask here,.. is anything else added in FSX deluxe as it is in the normal edition? (except a few planes)

AFAIK
[SIZE=-1]There are about 50 missions in the deluxe version of FSX and about 30 in the regular

and a few more planes, still looking for more

Any idea's if the FSX engine supports airships btw?

in FS9, they could be downloaded.. but they were basicly just like planes.. so you could roll them over top and make lookings with thatm.. wich looked pretty retarded if i may say so..;)

and.. thx for reminding me.. it wasnt just 1 but 2 words.. makes it even worse.. :D fear me! D=

No idea, I never played FS9 for any extended period of time. I had it for a while but thought it was too much of the same game reboxed and sold it.

Good thing you live on the other side of the pond and don't know what I look like. Makes it hard to carry out attacks :D

edit: I'd imagine airships would work very similar (if not exactly the same as FS9)

Alas, she lives in Manitoba, a great distance from me. You'd be best off asking Preator he lives ~ 10min from me but doesn't know where I live (to my knowledge anyway  ). Blue is fairly close too but he doesn't know either :D

I have FSX Deluxe Edition as I moved from FS9.

It's brilliant! Although you need a HEFTY video card. On 90% high settings, 1024x768 in thunderstorm with a very detailed 737. my *X1900XT 512* was hitting a mere 11fps.

The graphics are actually STUNNING. Worth every penny. Glider models are also very realistic, and the water textures - especially on the runways, are fascinatingly 1337.

Any idea what they mean with Glass Panel (G1000) cockpit and "Tower Controller" ? these bloody workstations have about everything blocked >.<

I think the glass panel is what FSX calls the 3D clickable model and the tower controller lets you be ATC
