FTP problems

I currently have tried 5 different FTP clients andhad the same problem with all of them

Currently im using ServeU

What is happening, is people can connect to login page for the FTP server, and it will accept there username and password... but after that, they cant connect... they're logged on, but cant connect to the home directory..

they end up hitting the 10 min timeout... its not my router.. as im hosting a webserver off it, right now... i''v tried 100's of diff ports... followed tutorials on installing and creating users to the T... and still doing it.

however, i can connect using my external IP and it works fine... so im stumped...

any suggestions?

have you tried core ftp lite its simple to use

i will give it a shot when i get home from work today, however, i dont thing the problem lies with the FTP program. It's done the exact same thing with 5 different programs. yet, http servers work fine.
