When i checked Fujitsu-Siemens website, it says that this laptop doesn't support XP, is there a way to install XP on it?

thanks

would i face the same thing if i install Linux, let's say Fedora for example?

There are no xp drivers for that model on Fujitsu-Siemens website. You would have to try and find xp drivers for all the hardware first by googling. What I would do is get a spare drive and try installing xp on it and see if you can get all the drivers to work. Keep the original drive in case you can't get xp to work, then all you would have to do is just put the vista hard drive back in the machine and your all set to go again.
