Hi,

my laptop has started acting strange, basically there are about 6 keys from the top 2 rows on the keybard that have suddently stopped working. Is there anything that I can do to see what the problem is?

I have downloaded a freeware keyboard checker but that does not really tell me anything other than the presses of the keys are not being registered.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a hardware problem you have with your keys. If you can find a disassembly manual and your confident in removing the keyboard from the laptop you could take out the keyboard and give it a clean with compressed air, etc... or get a replacement keyboard. If not the only other solution I can think of is sending it to a laptop repair shop.
