Can anybody tell me if there is a way to send programs from one drive to another?
My computer has two hard drives, one is already full (C drive) while the other one has plenty of room(D drive) I know I should had installed some programs in the D drive since the farst time, but I did not realize that. Now I'm getting a message every five minutes that there is no more space in C drive.

Thanks for any help.

You will need to uninstall and then reinstall to the correct drive. You just can't move the program itself.

i have to argue with his answer. i know in my computer class we copy entire programs all the time. as long as everything is there it should work whereever you put it

I've used some copy software to clone a drive. I did the last time I switched HD's.

There might be a way to use some kind of cloning software to do it.

This is what I would do. I'm assuming the D drive is a larger drive. If so then get a sector copy program and move your enitre C drive to D. Then change places and delete the contents of what was the C drive. You can get a sector copy program from free from Aeseus. If the D drive is not larger then I would seriously recommend buying a larger one.

The problem can be in configurations files/registry. If the path where the program is installed is hardcoded anywhere, you might have some problems, if they are not corrected.

It is possible to copy the folder, leave it empty and redirect it to the folder on the other harddrive. That method will not break any paths.
