full screen stuttering with movies

hello. so ive spent all night getting my network going (dang security permissions had me confused). so i got it all networked. this is my problem...i have a desktop which is in my sig and it has all my movies on a hard drive, about 600gigs worth, hooked up to a 32 in lcd. i have a laptop in my room. it has a amd x2, 2.5 gigs of ram, and an ati raedeon m200 for video. they are hooked through a wireless router (lynksis wireless g, 54mbs). so i access a movie from the desktop to play on my laptop via the network, using windows media player. when it plays in fine until i put it in full screen. the audio and video skips or stutters, like a low frame rate, but when i take it out of full screen, it plays smooth like it should. does anyone know what could be causing this they play fine on my desktop, just gives me problems when i play them in FULL SCREEN on my LAPTOP over the network. im wondering if its maybe the router?..maybe wireless g isnt enough? any help would be great..thank you

ok so i put a movie directly on my laptop and wheni play it in full screen using wmp 11 it still does it so its not the network, its the media player. any ideas now of what could be making the media player do that in full screen

i think u need to upgrade your GPU..
but in your case is a laptop, so probably u cant change it...
-try to see if u have the latest drivers for your laptopor even they are insttaled at the moment..
-Try another Media player like VLC media player, its free, less demanding that WMP11..
