Full Screen Video on Secondary monitor

Hi everyone. I have my computer hooked up to my tv as a secondary monitor. My video card is the nvidia geforce 6200 256mb. The problem is, the full screen video is stretched vertically. it won't display it in it's proper resolution/size. Does anybody know how i can fix this? i even switched it so it would display full screen on my primary monitor and it is doing the same thing. It seems to be only happening with avi and mpg videos. not actual dvds. it doesn't matter what program im using to play the video either. My TV is a Hitachi 32" full screen sdtv. ANY help with this would be really appreciated. thank you...

i have downloaded and installed ultramon 2.7. How do i use it to maintain it's original attributes? which menu do i use? thank you..

i haven't been able to find any menu's or options that will let me change or retain the original Aspect Ratio of the avi/mpg. Thanks..
