Selling his Clawhammer 3500+ for a Venice 3500+ seems like a waste, since the FX-55 is 2.6Ghz stock and has unlocked multipliers.
 
Just an example, I didn't mean he should buy a 3500+ Venice. He could overclock his current CPU and use it for a while longer and get a nice Core 2 Duo/Quad setup later when he has the money for it.

Ya but my motherboard is screwed up for some reason and it won't let me overclock my RAM and it can't run in dual channel. So I can't get my 3500 above 2.4ghz. I'm just going to wait it out probably until the new year. (I have some moving violations I have to take care of first).

I've asked him that many times, and I think he's tried everything possible to overclock it, lol.
