FX5900 problem

Hi,
Recently I flashed my FX5900 with a FX5900XT BIOS (I thought that XT is better, but apperantly not with the Nvidia cards). However something went wrond and when my computer boots with the 5900 in it, all I get is a corrupted screen with vertical green lines on it. It doesn't even go into windows. Before the green lines appear I can een that the BIOS recognises the card as a 5900XT but thats it, the green lines appear after that. Do you think installing the original BIOS will fix the problem. Can you please tell me how to do it, I dont really want to waste the card (if I havn't wasted it already). Thanks in advance.

i would say that you f-ed up your video card, you cant flash a card with a BIOS from another card, even if they are in the same family, try can you flash it back to what it was somehow? other than that i do not know.

Actually, I'm pretty sure you can. I have heard about this before on other cards in other forums where they were successful in flashing a 6800GT to an Ultra.

Today I connected one of the other molex connectors from my power supply to the card and it actually booted to the desktop, wut with artefacts all over the screen. Do you think it can be a power supply problem. I am using a 350W power supply ( bad quality one ).
