G.skill F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ 4x1GB ddr2 800 overclock help?

hi i am a beginner at overclocking. i am just wondering does anybody have any experience on overclocking this ram or they have some kind of guide for overclocking this specific ram that would like to share with me. i searched on google for hours but couldn't find one guide that have something to do with my ram. help please?
 
whats your suggestion? i believe i don't really have overheat problems cuz i have a 25CM fan right infront of my motherboard
 
Im not sure if its worth fooling with, i don't think you could tell the difference... the reason mines 935mhz is because my cpu is overclocked. Most of the time in order to OC the ram you got to OC the cpu, unless in bios you can set the ram frequency higher.

But setting faster timings is easy, you can try setting the ram to 2.1v @ 4-4-4-12
 
yes i am planning to OC my quadcore to maybe around 3.0ghz. i have asus p5n E sli, the bios supports OCing i believe. so would i have more opinions now? thank you
 
Just raising your ram voltage doesnt do anything, if you lower your timimg or start raising your FSB and want to keep your ram 1:1 with your FSB you will have to bump up the voltage.
 
my ram ratio is set to AUTO.... am i suppose to change it to 1:1 cuz after lowering the timing and got the voltage to 2.175 my PC actually crashed maybe it is because right now i have 2 different rams in my PC. i have 2 GB G.skill and 2x 512 corsair ram. they are all ddr2 pc 6400 which runs at 800mhz. i am getting another 2 GB of g.skill ram
