I just bought a new computer and everything assembled with ease, for some reason when I went to install the Os it locked up, so I got the driver for my mother board with the SATA (non-raid) and when i did that it would do its thing then try to install OS but lock up everytime, about 24hrs of trying stuff, I have no more ideas, I've also tried updating BIOS with the Q-Flash that comes with this motherboard yet, it'll go to read the floppy then cancel out of that. Please if you have any ideas I'd like to hear them all, this things a pain and I just want to get it working.

P.S. Tried XP home and 2000, 2000 went a little farther than xp but neither instal, yes i've formatted HD and even installed xp on the HD through another computer. The q-flash doesn't seem to work for me is there another non-os way to update BIOS?

Cont.

Ehh screw it, tried using the Q-Flash setting didn't work at all it screwed up the BIOS can't even post. I went out and bought an ASUS worked much better, i only need a bigger power supply for the asus but in a week we should be up and running.

Props to newegg.com I get my money back for the mobo AND the undervoltage powersupply I bought for the Gigabyte board.:D
