G11 macro question

Hi guys,
is it possible to set a macro to open up dvd drives or shut down the comp using the g11 keyboards "g" keys. If so how is it done?

Apparently, it can only be done with software. If you google a bit, you'll find a few tiny programs that eject the tray. I'm sure you could make something using one of them. Same goes for shutting down.
