G15 and winamp rays mod not working

ok so i donwloaded ray's mod for the logitech g15, and everything shows up on the lcd screen like what song im listening to and such, but the dancing light effect doesnt work. i've even done the 2 ctrl keys and turned on the 2 hidden options and it sill doesnt work. i have the logitech g15 v2 and i'm running vista, so maybe one of those might be the problem? any input would be appreciated, thanks.
