GA-MA785GPMT-UD2H bestboard for AMD 965??

I have been trying to fing a good motherboard for a fast home pc. I will be using a AMD Phenom 965 and need a motherboard that will fit in y old HP A350n case. I cannot fit a 12"x9.6" board. I will need a 9.6"x9.6" or close in order to fit...

How does the GA-MA785GPMT-UD2H 9.6"X9.6" compare to the most commonly used high end boards like:

ASUS MA79XTD 12"X9.6"
MSI 790FX GD70 12"X9.6"
GIGABYTE GAMA790GPT UDH3 12"X9.6"
 
Thanks, I have major trouble figuring out why this board is smaller and what it is giving up to a 12" board. Why does everyone run the bog boards??

Is this probably the best, meaning, capable of super high speeds and reliable, that can be used with the AMD 965 and is a "small" baord?

The Gigabyte 790XT is a Crossfire board. Has a 10 phase power setup and newer low RDS(on) mosfets. I have the GA MA790X UD4P, same board just DDR2.

GA-MA785GPMT-UD2H is a good board. Its a mico ATX board with onboard video with a 5 phase power setup. Its just a little lower end board for micro ATX cases.
